good evening boys and girls answer all of our parents and families and friends tonight is our very last reading his fun Tuesday night of the school year can't believe it's been 9 weeks already now with that being said let's welcome Knights reader it is first and foremost let's make sure someone press record got it good it is Miss Washington our fifth grade teacher let's give her a big round of applause unmute yourself Miss Washington all right tonight I am going to be reading the book The Nutcracker in Harlem it was snowing in Harlem on Christmas Eve the party at Marie's house world what colors gold and red and green mama and Poppy were dancing Miss Addie sang and Uncle cab played the piano Marie love the sound of music join in Murray Uncle cab called out Murray look down she wish she could sing but Marie was afraid she wasn't any good certainly not like me sad cat the song ended it was time for gifts every year Uncle cab would give Maria doll and Freddy some Toy Soldiers they were called from a magical with Uncle cap always said how did Freddie his gear and now from my memory setup a nutcracker said Marie a drummer Nutcracker dum diddy dum Dum Dum Dee Dum play The Nutcracker on his drum Uncle cab saying that tune to the beat of the Little Drummer the room again filled with song everyone in the house was singing or dancing everyone Murray Miss patty melt next to Marie will you sing with me Marie she asked Marie took her head inside of everyone you just have to let it out after dinner Maria took the Nutcracker and a slice of sweet potato pie and set by the Christmas tree the lights were soft and twinkling she laid close your eyes and fell asleep Marie open her eyes the house it's on silent outside it stopped snowing a full moon load in the sky and the living room was filled with a ghostly white light a Russian sound came from the top of the tree where mama had hung her favorite ornament the glass Birds it was almost as if the glass bird with moving it was the bird fluttered its wings and begin to sing in the Goldberg joined in and the red in The Green Room to as a bird sing the Christmas tree begin to grow and grow bigger and bigger until it's Howard over Murray the ornament the presents the dolls and the soldiers group 2 Dum Diddy Dum Dum Dum Dee Dum The Nutcracker played his drum the toy soldiers and dolls. around the tree as the bird staying on the music stopped candy canes voice squeaked Marie turn a mouse oh and uniform was marching towards the tree and mouse General was leading them his chest covered with shiny metal candy cane PVP did my chocolate charge The Nutcracker begin to drum dum diddy dum blind 1 miles away and knocked down miles Army advance Birds Sang as the soldiers return We rejoined the Nutcracker in a dance they swirled around and around they seem to be on a cloud it started snowing but it wasn't cold recalls her eyes and began to sing Marie Callender eyes it was morning did I miss Christmas react course not darling mama said under the tree where Maurice dolls The Nutcracker and something else a drum he picked up the drumsticks Dum Diddy Dum Dum Dum Dee Dum very good song mommy mama and Poppy and Miss Addy all joined in and so did Marie and boys and girls that is the end of my story what state is Washington a big round of applause everybody and now it is time for what Miss Washington and it's time for The Nutcracker questions number one everybody listen and writing it right the answer in the chat did Marie wish that she can do well the correct answer is Marie said she could sing brides and now what's next Miss Washington question number two what did Miss Addie tell Murray about music was it a music is too loud B music is only for the young or see music lives inside of everyone and the answer is c music lives inside of everyone and what's next Miss Washington Nutcracker question number 3 what did the glass birds do did they a lie b sing or sea hawk the correct answer is bee sting the birds were singing Nutcracker question number 5 is Washington okay what happened when the birds began to sing actually that was question just watching and the answer is the Christmas tree again to grow and began to grow and now Nutcracker question number 5 the title of today tonight's book was the Nutcracker in Harlem what state is Harlem Harlem located in and the correct answer is New York in New York Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Merry Christmas everybody happy New Year Merry Christmas Play the song Because I Love It I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas I want I want to hippopotamus just bring him through the front door.
